About the Parish Council

Brixworth Parish Council is made up of up to fourteen elected or co-opted local residents, and meets at least once a month in Brixworth Village Hall.  These meetings are usually open to the public, unless there is private or confidential business to be discussed. (The Electorate as at Feb 2018 is 4258)

The planned expenditure for 2018/2019 is £170,745.

In addition to full meetings of the council, there are two Committees. These look at Planning and Media & Communications. These meetings are held at the Community Centre.

There are also several working groups (which may consist of councillors and members of the public) which research various subjects and report back to the full council. Working Groups exist for Personnel, Finance & Neighbourhood Planning.

Find out when the Council and Committee meeting takes place by clicking on the Calendar tab on the left, or look on the Council Notice Boards located outside K F Troop Greengrocers or in the Community Centre foyer.
